Introduction

askInput is a voice messaging tool, where users can write questions and a client answers the questions using their voice and text. askInput give you written and audio answers to questions being asked.

The purpose of the tool is to:

  • Give speed and clarity - clients share information freely - especially non-english speakers
  • Capture tone - Capture context, clarity and personality from the client’s answers
  • Manage expectations - clients express themselves better, guaranteeing expectations
  • Save time – no need to decipher briefs, (re) schedule calls or sift through email chains

This Privacy Policy describes how Only Way Online Ltd t/a askInput (the “Company”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, shares, discards and protects your personal information in connection with your use of the platform accessible through the www.askInput.comdomain name (the “Site”) and the services offered by us from time to time (indistinctly referred to as the “Services”).

In addition, this Privacy Policy describes how we process information about other people that are directly or indirectly providing us services, or from people that, despite not using the Services, have contacted us or that we need to contact because of a conflict or issue with the Services or our Company.

If you are a respondent to an askInput form i.e. questionnaire created on our platform, we are not responsible for the processing of your data. We are merely providing services to the company or person who sent you the form. Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you to set up an askInput account and request client’s voice thoughts via a shareable link or by inputting the email address of the client.

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

  • To provide, maintain and improve our Services
  • To keep our Services secure and protect against fraud, abuse, and intrusion.
  • To provide user support, information, and services requested by you
  • To send important account or security notifications
  • To promote our Services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. If you’d like to unsubscribe from our marketing emails, click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email. You can also update your notification preferences in your account settings
  • Share this information with third party developers to make fixes or to explore developmental changes across the site and product functionality
  • For other purposes with your consent

As customers maintain control of their accounts and associated Customer Data, we will use Customer Data according to our customers' instructions and our Terms of Service. Customers are able to restrict, remove, disclose, and access content and information associated with the accounts in their Workspaces, as well as grant, deny, or limit access to those accounts and Workspaces, and configure the privacy settings for those accounts and Workspaces. In the event that a customer creates an askInput account with their work email and they are not already part of the company's Workspace, the company may have the ability to add the customer's account and its content to the Workspace. In this instance, we will provide the customer with notice prior to any such action.

How we share your personal information

We share information outside of askInput only as outlined below:

  • Trusted Third Parties: We disclose information to our service providers or other third-parties so they can help us provide our Services and run our business. Examples include storing Customer Data, payment processing, providing customer service, and helping us with our marketing activities. We’ll only disclose the information necessary for these parties to perform their services for us, and they’ll be bound by contractual obligations to protect your personal information
  • Third-party networks and websites: With third-party social media networks, advertising networks and websites, so that askInput can market and advertise on third-party platforms and websites.
  • Other Users: When you collaborate with others, we display your basic account or profile information for context. For example, if you share an askInput link with a client for their response, we’ll let them know that it was you who shared it and requested a response. Also, when users interact with a questionnaire or other content on our Services, we make certain usage information visible to the ask owner and respondee, including the name of respondee (if they are logged in at the time) as well as the number of times a questionnaire was viewed. This information is provided solely to give the askInput owner and respondee visibility into the usage of the content.
  • Administrators: If you join a Workspace owned by another person or entity, the administrator of that Workspace has the right to access and control the content within that Workspace. Customers and their authorised users may choose to share and disclose information according to their own policies and discretion. Additionally, if you sign up for askInput with an email domain owned or managed by your employer or organisation, we may share the fact that you have an account with us along with some basic account information with your employer or organisation.
  • Change in Business Structure: In the event that askInput is subject to a merger, acquisition, public offering, asset sale, insolvency, bankruptcy, or similar change in our business structure, we may be required to disclose your information to the relevant parties involved in the transaction, in accordance with the applicable confidentiality requirements.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if it is necessary to comply with the applicable law, regulation, enforceable governmental request, or a valid legal process. This includes preventing fraud or a security breach, enforcing our policies or agreements, or protecting our or others' rights, property, or safety.

The security of our systems is further bolstered by 24x7 monitoring, biometric scanning, and video surveillance at AWS data centers. Additionally, AWS undergoes continuous certification across various global security and compliance frameworks to ensure the highest level of security for our customers.

Legal basis

We will process your personal data based on your clear and specific consent, which you can withdraw at any time. By using our thought messaging tool and providing us with your personal data, you are giving us your consent to process your data in accordance with this privacy policy.
